As we advertised 40 years ago because we guarantee the course, we cannot guarantee the time. |
Notice!!!Are you a graduate of a 147 FAA approved school? Through special arrangement through the FAA, you can now attend King's School of Aeronautics, take the A&P computer tests, and go to the DME without the FAA signing your 8610-2 forms. The school can prepare those forms for you. Call for details now. Have your 147 school diploma at hand when you call. |
PLEASE READ
(Don't believe the hogwash.)
Certain schools are attempting to sway our potential students into their school by offering a free computer re-test should the student fail a test on the first attempt. Well, if they have a high failure rate, they need to do something about it. At King's, we don't need this policy. No failure, no free test. We have confidence in our training and our students. Within a few minutes after training is completed, King's students are sitting for the test with no lost time.

Everyone attending this school for the A&P written preparation must have 2 copies of the FAA Form 8610-2 with them. When obtaining this form, be sure the FAA Inspector signs both copies of the form. Their signature must be an original on each copy. The DME can not provide the O&P Test without both copies having original signatures. (This excludes FAA 147 school graduates.)
Be prepared to hand-carry these two copies to the FAA Inspector. You should not try to obtain the FAA authorization by phone or any other method such as Fax or e-mail.

King’s has had thousands of students in class since 1973. Every student is different and we have to adjust training sometimes to get the best and fastest results for that student. Each section, General, Airframe, and Powerplant will take from two (2) to three (3) days to accomplish. Many students will finish all three written tests in about 6 days, others may need 7 - 8 days. You must be prepared to extend the time if necessary. Because we guarantee the course, we cannot guarantee the time.
We require a $100.00 deposit to be made at this time. Almost everyone uses a credit card over the phone, or you may include the card info on your “online” enrollment form. On the morning of the first day of school, we need: two 8610-2 forms and two photo IDs. (The second ID is to be used if something is wrong with the first.) Non US students must also bring a current passport. The balance of tuition is due at this time. (No personal checks, please.) All books, training material, and calculators are furnished. Don’t bring Hi-lighters, we have plenty. Also, please don’t bring study material from another school or book company or any laptop computers to our classroom. After 43 years, we have found that this material is not beneficial with our training.
